On Sunday, December 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., head on over to Makers Central in Tarrytown for the 4th annual Local Makers Market. This free event is about getting a taste of local flavors and supporting the community's craftsmanship. There’s undoubtedly something for everyone, and it’s a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and do some early shopping; maybe get a gift or two for your loved ones. 

If you miss the first date, don’t worry. The Holiday Makers Market will be open on Saturday, December 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Best of all, it’s just an 8-minute drive from the Sleepy Hollow Hotel, leaving you more time to shop and less time on the road.

Jared Freid: The Family Business Tour—Live Special Taping

On Saturday, December 7th, Jared Freid brings his comedy special to Tarrytown Music Hall from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Freid’s comedic observations on family, dating, and life in your 30s will surely have you laughing all night. Freid is a podcaster and comedian who has seen one of his stand-up shows air on Netflix.  

If you’re in the mood for some hilarious entertainment, this show is going to knock your socks off. Tickets to the show cost between $38.50 and $58.50.

The Nutcracker

Take the family to see a delightful performance of The Nutcracker on Sunday, December 15th, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tarrytown Music Hall. The show is said to be “one of the most complex theatrical, staged ballets” currently being shown, so it is without a doubt that it's widely popular. This hour-long version of the beloved classic is designed for younger audiences, but adults, you’ll find it interesting too. 

It’s a perfect way to introduce children to the grace and awe that come with ballet during the holiday season. Tickets to this event cost between $31 and $41.

Darlene Love: Love for the Holidays

Don’t we all have a little love for the holidays? Wrap up your holiday festivities and start getting ready for Christmas celebrations with a performance by Darlene Love on Sunday, December 22nd, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Tarrytown Music Hall.
